Governor & CM mourn death of veteran journalist Vijay Sehgal

Shimla---Veteran Journalist and former Editor of Dainik Tribune Shri Vijay Sehgal passed away on Monday morning at Chandigarh after a prolonged illness.
Governor Acharya Devvrat has expressed grief over the sad demise of Shri Vijay Sehgal and prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister, Shri Virbhadra Singh while expressing heartfelt condolences said that Shri Sehgal was a renowned journalist and a gentle soul and the void created by his demise in the media world would be difficult to be filled. "He was a personal friend of mine and I am deeply saddened by the news of his death", said Shri Virbhadra Singh.
"I pray to the almighty to give strength to his family members to bear the irreparable loss", conveyed Shri Singh in his condolence message.
Information and Public Relations Minister, Shri Mukesh Agnihotri in his condolence message said that this was really sad and a great loss to all those who had personal relations with him.
Apart from being a journalist of repute, Shri Sehgal was a distinguished personality and a litterateur, he said. He prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul.
Director, Information and Public Relations, Shri Dinesh Malhotra, in his condolence message also prayed to almighty to grant peace to the departed soul. The entire family of Public Relations department of Himachal Pradesh has expressed deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies on the demise of Shri Sehgal.
