Dr. Rita Singh calls on Governor

SHIMLA--Member, National Executive of Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Parishad and Member, Hindi Advisory Committee of Ministry of Finance, Government of India, Dr. Rita Singh called on Governor Acharya Devvrat at Rajbhawan, Shimla today.

            She apprised the Governor about their promotional activities in the field of art, culture and literature in the State and said that the Parishad was interested to start mobile libraries particularly in the rural areas.

            The Governor appreciated the efforts of the HP Chapter of Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Parishad and asked her to work also in the field of environment protection, women empowerment and cow rearing.
