A team of Periyar Tiger Reserve meets Forest Minister

Shimla--- A five member team of Periyar Tiger Reserve of Kerala State led by Principal Chief Conservator of Wild life Shri G. Hari Kumar called on Forest Minister Shri Thakur Singh Bharmouri, here today.
The team informed the officials of Forest Department of Himachal Pradesh about the ongoing activities of eco tourism and wild life conservation in Kerala.
Shri Bharmouri said HP Forest Department was working to explore the vast potential of Eco tourism and Wildlife Conservation in the State. He said that the nature had bestowed the State with vast bio diversity which needs to be explored to promote tourism activities in various parts of the State.
During its two days visit, the team visited various parts of Himachal Pradesh including Pong Dam, Khajjiar, Kalatop, Dharamshala, etc.
Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Shri S. P. Vasudeva, Principal Chief Conservator of Wildlife Shri S.S. Negi and senior officers of H.P. Forest department were also present in the meeting.
