SHIMLA------Governor Smt. Urmila Singh and Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh have expressed deep grief over the accident of a State Transport bus near Kadhar Ghat in Sunni Tehsil of Shimla district today in which at least 21 passengers lost their lives and four suffered injuries, as per the latest reports received at State Headquarters. The injured have been referred to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Shimla.
The Governor has conveyed her sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
In his condolence message the Chief Minister has conveyed his sympathy with the grief stricken family members and prayed for peace to the departed souls. He also wished speedy recovery to the injured.
He directed the administration to provide immediate relief to the next of kin of the deceased and those injured in the accident.
He also directed the hospital administration to provide best treatment to the injured.
Transport Minister Shri G.S Bali has also expressed grief over the accident. He has ordered magisterial and technical enquiry in to the accident.

Dhani Ram Shandil, Social Justice & Empowerment Minister, Shri Anil Sharma, Rural Development Minister and Chief Parliamentary Secretaries have also expressed their condolences over this tragedy.
