SHIMLA------Republic Day was celebrated with much enthusiasm and fervor in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh today. The Acting Chief Justice Sh. Mansoor Ahmad Mir unfurled the national flag and inspected Guard of Honour. High Court Judges Justice D.D. Sud, Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice Dharam Chand Chaudhary were also present on the occasion.
The officials of the High Court Registry, District Courts Shimla, H.P. Judicial Academy, State Legal Services Authority, State/District Consumer Forum Shimla, Office of the Advocate General, Advocates and other Offices based in High Court premises participated in the Republic Day ceremony.
The retired Judges from High Court Sh. A.K. Goel and Sh. R.K. Mahajan, High Court Registrars Sh. Sureshwar Thakur, Sh. Sushil Kukreja, Sh. K.S. Chandel and Sh. Arvind Malhotra, Director of the H.P. Judicial Academy Sh. C.B. Barowalia, Member Secretary of the State Legal Services Authority Sh. Virender Singh, Judicial Officers posted in Shimla and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
