With a view to market products of the State in Southern India, the Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation and Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation are jointly holding a 'Tourism Meet' of travel agents and tour operators at Bengaluru on 15th January, 2011.
Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma, Director, Tourism and Civil Aviation, said here today that in the meet the tour operators and travel agents would be acquainted about the key selling points of Himachal Pradesh and a presentation on new destinations of Himachal would also be given.
Dr. Sharma said that during tourism and travel fair, a three day long Himachali food festival of traditional cuisines would also be organised form 14th-16th January at Bengaluru, besides Himachal cultural programme for the attraction of visitors.
