BILASPUR(H.P.) April 3,2008---Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister welcomed the renowned Yog Guru Swami Ram Dev on his arrival at Bilaspur on behalf of the people of Himachal Pradesh .Chief Minister said that the State Government had been encouraging Yoga in the State so as to build up a healthy society and Nation. He assured Swami Ji of all co-operation to Patanjali. Yog Peeth for popularizing Yoga across the State.Profusely eulogizing the endeeavours of Swami Ji for making the society healthy, desease-free ad spiritually awakened through Yog Shiksha,. Dhumal said that there are myriad of devotees and admirers of Swami Ji in the State. He expressed his gratitude to Swami Ji for organizing the week-long Yoga Camp at Bilaspur which would benefit thousands of Yoga lovers.J.P. Nadda, Forest Minister, Rikhi Ram Kaundal, MLA and former Minister, Randhir Sharma, MLA were also present among others on the occasion.

BILASPUR(HP),April 3.2008 ---Yog guru Baba Ramdev has praised Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal for accepting his demand of introducing yoga education in schools. Addressing media persons at Dholera rest house , he said the step would not only help students and youths to stay physically and mentally healthy, but also save them from bad habits. yog guru arrived here for organising a six-day yoga training camp. He said he had accepted Dhumal's suggestion that the Patanjali Yogpeeth should set up an ayurveda medical college and hospital in the state.He offered to buy all herbal production in state even if that amounted to Rs 200 crore as the yogpeeth required 100 tonnes of awala and a similar quantity of aloe vera daily.He claimed yoga had the power to treat even cancer. He said he was determined to train 9,000 yoga teachers in Himachal so that everybody could benefit from it.Dhumal thanked the yog guru for showing interest in the welfare of Himachalis.He praised his efforts towards spreading yoga in every nook and corner of the world.
