Prof Samdong Rinpoche, Prime Minister Tibetan Government-in-Exile, was honoured in the India Splendour Award ceremony during the function organised by Maha Bodhi Society of India.
The conference was attended by Jagat Guru Shanker Acharya Swami Divyanand Teerthjee Maharaj, Prime Minister Tibetan Government-in-Exile Prof Samdong Rinpoche, Swami Chidanand Saraswati (Muniji) Rishiksh, president Parmarth Niketan Ashram Acharya Roop Chander Ji (Jain Muni), founder resident Manav Mandir Mission, Lama Lobzang former member NCM GOI and Dr Rajnish Shukla, Sampooranand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya Varanasi and president Maha Bodhi Society of India Dr Bhupndra Kumar Modi.
There was a world tea party too during the conference.
