Former chief minister Virbhadra Singh has termed the first 100 days of Dhumal-led BJP government in Himachal as a period of "political vendetta", when the government was hit by the "Virbhadra Singh phobia". In a statement released on Tuesday, Virbhadra Singh ridiculed the BJP government for laying claims over achievements like IRB battalions, increase in annual plan and sanction of new railway line, which, he said, are an outcome of efforts of the Congress. "Their focus is on victimising government employees by resorting to large-scale transfers. Casteism and regionalism has once again raised its head in the state and services are being divided on the basis of caste and region," he said.
